Andy has joined and thicknessed the front and fitted the rings of the soundhole decoration. The space between two rings is then routed out for abalone inlay.

The sides are fittted next, followed by the linings, held in place with clothes pegs.

When in doubt, a small feeler gauge can be used to check for gaps under the frets.

Once the frets are stoned, the tops are re-crowned using a concave fret file.
