The strips of rosewood and maple are glued in with animal glue...

The spruce braces are glued to the front and planed to height. They will then be shaped and scalloped to give the front the correct balance between responsiveness and strength.

Kieran is shaping the heel. This area is inaccessible once the neck is glued to the body and needs to be shaped prior to assembly.
