Leah has inlaid the soundhole decoration in her red spruce front and is sanding it flush.

The braces are glued on oversize, to be carved once fitted.

The instrument is then assembled, the first stage of which is gluing the neck to the front.

The sides and linings are then planed to height to accept the back.
