Michael has glued the small finger braces first, which are easier to shape before the larger x-braces are fitted.

The sides are then bent and the sides joined at the cutaway with a small internal block.

While the body is gluing Michael starts to shape the ebony fingerboard.

After stoning the frets are recrowned with a concave fret file.
